Stefan Pletschacher qualifies

for the Ice Speedway World Championship 2011

DARK DOG is on the ice lane again this season with Stefan Pletschacher. On January 8th the season started for „Pletschi“ with a successful 3rd position in Poznan, Poland and a good 4th position the following day in Heidenreichstein, Austria.

Since December the Dark Dog Team has been training hard in Sweden to be perfectly prepared, and to reach the big goal: enjoy the final of the World Championship 2011 in March in Inzell, Germany. After some difficult years with injuries and technical problems Stefan Pletschacher is now in top form as shown in the last races. There he has also got the practice he will need for the coming World Championship.

It is the right material and also in terms of driving he is prepared. His father Hermann optimizes the coupling and some investments in the engine power made Stefan Pletschacher „absolutely competitive”. „I am so happy“, he told middle of January in St.Johann in Pongau, when he qualified for the World Championship 2011 with a fantastic 5th position. The first target he set himself is hence reached.

On February 1st the Dark Dog Team set out for Russia, for the first race in Krasnogorsk (February 5th/6th). Stefan Pletschacher is looking forward to the runs in Krasnogorsk. “At the Team World Championship in Krasnogorsk last year I had some runs just about the limit. And if I do one of my brutal starts the other riders have to make an effort to pass me by.”

On it goes the following weekend in Togliatti (February 12th/13th). Next is Assen (March 12th/13th) and ultimately the big final in homelike Inzell on March 26th and 27th.

Dark Dog wishes good luck for the upcoming World Championship. Dark Dog will be at the lane during all races and supports Stefan Pletschacher with MORE ENERGY.
