Mugello, Italy: After races in Qatar, Spain and France, the new intermediate class of the MotoGP World Championship - the Moto2 - will take place for the first time in Italy during the upcoming weekend. Once again, riders with experience from MotoGP, the former 250cc class and the 125cc category are all competing in the 600cc 4-stroke Moto2 World Championship.
The Moto2 category's aim of being a close and competitive class has so far been accomplished, with the 40-strong field of riders providing a compelling opening in the three rounds of the 2010 season. In qualifying at Le Mans (France) the top 27 were separated by less than a second as the fight for the inaugural title delivered a spectacular contest.
The two DARK DOG riders from Team Forward Racing are ready to battle for good results in Italy and for Italian-born Claudio Corti it is a special occasion to start showing his high potential in front of his fans and the local spectators.
His team mate Jules Cluzel from France is currently holding eighth position overall and is confident to climb up the standing after the upcoming race in Mugello (Italy) as he already stated a fantastic performance at the opening round of the Moto2 in Qatar by posting a third position and presenting DARK DOG on the podium.
The two riders Claudio and Jules - supported by DARK DOG, the official Energy Drink provider of Team Forward Racing - are looking forward to the race in Italy and are well prepared for achieving best possible results!
