DARK DOG rider Stefan Pletschacher finished first race in TOP 5

Actually, the start of the Icespeedway season 2010 was scheduled for the 3rd January. But due to temperatures above zero, the race had to be postponed to Mid February of this current year.

Therefore, the season of one of the most thrilling winter sports started on 6th January 2010 at Steingaden, in the beautiful south of Germany.

In order to be perfectly prepared for the start of the season, the whole DARK DOG Racing Team had been training 2 weeks in the far north of Sweden under perfect weather conditions with temperatures around minus 20 degrees.

Recent developments and improvements that were made on the bike had been extensively tested and Stefan Pletschacher, together with his mechanics, started with a very positive feeling into the first race of the season. Competition was immense and the riders fought their way to the finishing line. Stefan Pletschacher - supported by DARK DOG, the Guaraná & Vitamin Energy Drink - reached a fantastic fifth position and collected important 11 points.
